HORSE is on a mission to revolutionise the future network-of-networks landscape with cutting-edge technology solutions and system evaluations that go beyond current expectations. HORSE introduces an innovative, human-centric, open-source platform that is green, sustainable, and coordinated for seamless network service provisioning and protection. This evolutionary platform dynamically integrates advancements across multiple domains, from predictive threat detection and proactive threat mitigation to programmable networking, semantic communications, Network Function Virtualisation (NFV), intent-based networking, AI-driven techniques, and cross-layer management of physical layer features.
Martel leads the communication, dissemination, and community-building efforts in HORSE, ensuring the project’s outcomes have a broad and lasting impact. Martel’s technical team plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and validating key components of HORSE, with a special focus on developing the AI engine and designing tools and services for establishing and enforcing data policies for all types of data managed by the HORSE platform.
