We are proud to announce that Dr Monique Calisti, CEO of Martel Innovate and President and Founder of Digital for Planet, has been elected as a member of the new Board of Directors of the AI, Data and Robotics Association (ADRA).
This election marks a renewed commitment from both Martel and Digital for Planet to the European Commission’s AI priorities, with a strong focus on open, sustainable, and human-centric digital technologies.
With a track record in leading European R&I initiatives, such as the NGI Outreach Office, NGI Commons, and 6G4Society, Dr Calisti brings deep expertise in multi-stakeholder governance, AI and data innovation, and strategic R&I policymaking. Her role on the Board will reinforce ADRA’s efforts to align technological progress with societal impact and European digital sovereignty.
Her election is also a recognition of the active role SMEs and not-for-profits can play in shaping responsible AI and data ecosystems.
