TaRDIS – Trustworthy And Resilient Decentralised Intelligence for edge Systems
TaRDIS addresses the ever-increasing complexities of developing correct and performant heterogeneous swarms – swarm systems that are heterogeneous, intelligent, dynamic, and decentralised – by providing a novel programming model, integrated development and analysis environment, and corresponding runtime support.
The project will produce a language-independent event-driven programming model that allows developers to specify the behaviour of different components in their distributed system as a collection of autonomous collaborative nodes. This programming model exposes, through an event-based interface, simple and effective distribution abstractions and access to powerful decentralised machine learning algorithms and models, that programmers leverage to develop their applications.
