AIXPERT is a Horizon Europe project that aims to reshape how artificial intelligence is developed, deployed, and trusted. Launched in 2025, this €7.5 million initiative, co-funded by the European Union and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), is building an adaptable, agentic AI platform that prioritises explainability, accountability, and human-centric values. AIXPERT responds to critical concerns about AI opacity and bias by developing innovative tools and methodologies that:
- Integrate multimodal data for better representation and robustness,
- Enhance decision-making transparency to meet regulatory and ethical standards,
- Enable cross-disciplinary cooperation to tackle systemic bias,
- Deliver scalable, domain-agnostic agentic AI components for real-world applications like diagnostics, recruitment, and music generation.
Martel plays a central role in the AIXPERT project, leading the communication, dissemination, and exploitation work. Through targeted outreach and engagement strategies, Martel ensures that the project’s outcomes reach a wide spectrum of stakeholders. Martel also drives the exploitation strategy, helping maximise the long-term value and sustainability of the project’s innovations and results.
