ACES aims to revolutionise AI by infusing autopoiesis and cognition into every level of cloud management. This groundbreaking approach empowers AI with advanced capabilities like intelligent workload placement, dynamic service and resource management, and sophisticated data and policy management.
ACES brings together a powerhouse consortium of 11 organisations, including leading small and medium businesses, research and technology institutions, academia, and industry experts. These leaders in computer engineering, smart manufacturing, public policy, technological development, innovation management, and business information system security are at the forefront of innovation. ACES aims to develop a distributed, opportunistic, collaborative, and heterogeneous edge services environment that is self-managed and self-organising, focusing primarily on edge-to-edge and, secondarily, on the edge-to-cloud continuum.
For the ACES project, Martel leads communication, dissemination, exploitation and standardization activities to ensure broad and durable impact of the project’s outcomes.
