Martel Innovate and Digital for Planet (D4P) are gearing up for a strong presence at the European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) 2025, taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from November 12–14, 2025.

As Europe’s flagship event on data, AI, and digital transformation, EBDVF brings together leading industry experts, researchers, and policymakers shaping the future of the European data economy, and we will once again be at the forefront of the discussion.

After a successful participation in EBDVF 2024, where we shared insights on the importance of collaboration, trust, and innovation in Europe’s data landscape (read more here), Martel and D4P return to EBDVF 2025 ready to deepen the conversation and highlight new achievements across AI, cybersecurity, and trustworthy data ecosystems.

On 12 Novemebr, Alice Piemonti will speak in the session “Generative AI and Agents for European Industry and Public Sector Transformation”, starting at 14:00. This session will explore how the rise of Generative AI and agents, underpinned by foundation models, is shaping Europe’s industrial ecosystems and public sector operations. Alice will present Martel’s work within the EU-funded HORSE project, highlighting how Large Language Models (LLMs) can enhance cybersecurity knowledge bases, making them more dynamic, complete, and context-aware. Her presentation will demonstrate the practical impacts of LLMs in improving knowledge management and adaptive, AI-powered threat intelligence systems.

On 14 November, Rafael Rodrigues will represent Digital for Planet and the CERTAIN project in the session “Semantics & Compliance: Enabling Trustworthy Data/AI in European Data Spaces”, from 09:00 – 10:30. Organised by the DICE Alliance and featuring CERTAIN, DATAPACT, ACCOMPLISH, and ACHILLES projects, the session will explore how semantic technologies and formal compliance frameworks can ensure transparency, ethics, and accountability in Europe’s evolving data ecosystems.
