The attention and dedication from not only the project partners but also a number of important stakeholders are expected to lead to successful and positive results. Huawei, as a partner, has taken the role of being the local host and the event has been endorsed by the IEEE 5G Initiative as well as the largest science park in China – Haidian Zhongguancun Science Park in Beijing.

The one-day public event aims to present and showcase some of the latest development of 5G and IoT in both the EU and China, covering topics including EU-China S&T cooperation priorities in the fields of ICT, standardisation, cooperation on large-scale pilots and testbeds, as well as identifying potential ways forward towards better cooperation between both sides in these two important fields.

The conference will be followed immediately on the next day with a non-public, intensive Round Table discussion between the invited speakers/experts and the project partners on concrete ideas for bilateral cooperation in the fields of IoT and 5G.

Less than a week now to the day of the event – the programme has been continuously refined, capturing more and more key experts in the fields of IoT and 5G from both EU and China to jointly discuss the future of the Future Internet and possible joint actions forward.

Now, the venue is settled, the programme is launched, the news is announced. Our carefully prepared first EXCITING event is ready to go – be our guest and register for free!
